Will MSM Report on Obama Membership in Socialist New Party?

The mainstream media thought that the membership of Todd Palin, who is not a candidate for any office, in the Alaska Independence Party important enough to report in such outlets as the Los Angeles Times, MSNBC, and the New York Times, among others. So now that Barack Obama’s membership in the far left New Party has been unearthed, will they report his membership in that Socialist organization?

Does anyone see a pattern here with Obama and his idea of what America should be like? The SA Brownshirts are coming to mind again. I know it sounds paranoid, but having studied this quite a bit for years, I’m just seeing so many HUGE parallels. If they were small and tangential parallels I’d be able to shrug them off, but some of these are hugely similar to tactics used back then. If not the SA Brownshirts of the 20’s then the “Ministry of Truth” from George Orwell’s 1984 novel. I’m not the only person [1] [2] that thinks this sounds like the SA from Nazi Germany.

OBAMA TRUTH SQUAD

This is the latest attempt of the Obama campaign to target ads that Obama, well, doesn’t like. The Obama campaign is asking law enforcement in Missouri to target anyone who “lies or runs a misleading TV ad” during the campaign. Prosecutors and sheriffs, at the request of the Obama campaign, are jumping on board to “keep the truth” and remind people that Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for everyone making under $250,000 a year. But they will also “respond” to any statements that violate Missouri ethics laws.

Missouri Governor Matt Blunt has responded to Barack Obama’s “abusive use of Missouri law enforcement.” Here’s a quote from the governor:

“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.”

Appealing to the Justice Department? Sending threatening letters to station managers who air controversial ads? And now getting law enforcement to “respond” to statements on behalf of the campaign. Just stop and think for a moment what things will be like when this menace occupies the White House.

Read the history of the events that lead up to Hitler taking over the German government and instituting martial law. Hitler was voted into office by the people. He was considered a hugely charismatic speaker who could give hypnotizingly emotional and convincing speeches. He used strong arm tactics in the streets and with business people using a group called the SA who intimidated opponents into not speaking out against the Nazi Party. This was prior to coming to power, during the election campaign. Once in office, the seats in parliament were filled through corrupt elections and appointments so that the Nazi Party had a majority. The courts were then padded with Nazi party judges so they would uphold the Party’s tactics. Then once the parliament and judicial system were filled with Nazis, and Hitler was in place as the Chancellor (e.g. like the UK’s Prime Minister – head of the government), he then worked to gain police powers so he could halt any public decent. Then the Nazi’s intentionally burned the Reichstag (parliament building) and blamed the communists using the power of the newspapers which had been infiltrated by Nazi sympathizing editors. This whipped up the public into a panic and allowed Hitler to gain full emergency powers which culminated in a decree which stated:

The Emergency Decree: “Restrictions on personal liberty, on the right of free expression of opinion, including freedom of the press; on the rights of assembly and association; and violations of the privacy of postal, telegraphic and telephonic communications and warrants for house searches, orders for confiscations as well as restrictions on property, are also permissible beyond the legal limits otherwise prescribed.”

I know this all sounds so off the wall and absurd, but I’m seeing these potential situations which seem eerily similar to what allowed Hitler to take over.

If Obama is elected, he will probably have a Democrat controlled Congress. There are at least two Supreme Court Justices that are going to step down within the next president’s term. Obama would nominate extreme liberal justices and the Dem Congress would approve them in a heart beat. This would ensure that any laws passed by the Congress would be upheld as ok. Then all that would need to happen in this economically weakened and politically unstable world would be some huge (or perceived huge) event like a 9/11 type thing. Iran with its nukes, Russian putting nukes in Venezuela (a la the Cuban Missile Crisis), bombing in a nuke plant, poisoning tied to terrorists in the US, etc. Something that would freak the public out like 9/11 and give the government the mandate to “protect us”. Remember how ready we were to let the government do ANYTHING to root out terrorists lurking in our midst after 9/11 happened? All of these events are perfectly do-able based on current and past situations. Germany was a democratic western modern country when Hitler took over. And he took over by means of the democratic system in place and the judicial system. It took him almost 10 years to come to the point of power we usually associate his image of dictator with.

So where does the tally stand now? (from my August 13th email, Subject – “For those of you who don’t see it….”)

• He has played on the economic strains and social unrest of his followers in very dramatic and divisive rhetoric which foments jealousy and demands “change” while promising hope of a utopian future.
• He has been deemed a mesmerizing speaker with people swooning over him.
• He has taken on his own symbol “The light blue O with some red and white stripes inside” which represents HIS group.
• He has promised to take America into new glory and prosperity by initiating radical changes in governments role and function.
• He has suggested mandatory civilian service.
• He has suggested setting up a civilian security force above local police and outside the government police forces.
• He has taken complete control of the Democratic Party with almost no history or background in the national party functioning, displacing people in power with far longer tenures.
• He has expressed in his books and in past interviews, huge admiration for Marxist politics, and radical racial antagonism
• Socialist Europe loves him!

and now

• He’s sending out his “Truth Squad” to squash decent toward him.

I’m not saying I’m right about this, only stating what I’m seeing as potential. And each time something like this adds to my list of keys to the rise of Hitler and the Obama parallel, I’m going to post it so someone else can look at it. If there is an alternative or more better explanation about this, then I’d love to hear it. As long as it’s factual and not just an I hate Obama or McCain argument. I want to see real information to support why you think the way you do. I’m just reading and trying not to be caught unaware. I really would like some feedback on this. I’m hearing similar things from other people that think the way I do so any opposing thoughts or informed input would help to balance out this discussion.

Democrat House Representative from Florida was speaking to an audience of Jewish Democrats. That’s when the Democrat Rep. Alcee Hastings came up with this line: you should be wary of Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks … If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention.” Can you believe this jerk used to be a federal judge? And there’s an unsubtantiaed story that he once tried to kill a man but was stopped by a friend knocking the gun out of his hands and only shooting the guy in the leg! This was BEFORE Jimmy Carter appointed him as a federal judge!!!! Jeez. You cannot make this stuff up.

So let me recap:

• Democrats are allowed to have “former” KKK members elected in Congress
• Convicted, impeached-for-bribery federal judges sitting on House Intelligence committees
• Man slaughterers
• Tax frauders sitting on the House Weighs and Means committee [writes tax the laws]
• The democratic leader of the house sitting on ethics committees, banking committees, appropriations committees while her husband was working on contracts that were directly under the oversight of the appropriations committee and directly profitted pelosi personnaly
• Democratic President impeached by the House for PERJURY [that's lying under oath for those "it was all abut sex" people out there] and disbarred by the legal community. (not to mention getting blowjobs by a subordinant while married, while sitting in the White House, while talking national business over the phone.
• Democratic representative found with $90,000 wrapped in tin foil in his home freezer and indicted on 16 counts for bribery, racketeering, obstruction of justice and money laundering. Was on the House Tax committee but after the scandal of bribery, was pulled from that committee by the Democrat House Speaker and wanted to put him on the House HOMELAND SECURITY committee! That was blocked and he now sits on the House Committee on Small Business committee. He is still currently serving in Congress. nice.

The list is actually too long to post here (see a full list here). You can check it out for yourself. The only equivalent listing for Republican’s are some lists of State republican’s for sexual crimes and a small hand full of Bribery or other cases. Nothing on the scale of the Democrats in outright corruption of the political system itself. As bad as sex crimes usually are, they are not a corruption of the political process itself like Democrats seem to be afflicted with. In fact when THEY are caught doing the same sex crimes they are usually dismissed or whitewashed as not being that big of a deal unless there is an actual crime committed and the justice system follows through (barring any Democrats involved in the justice system on those cases – hence the closely tied Senate not removing [due to the dems refusal to remove] Clinton for personally breaking the law for lying under oath in an ongoing criminal investigation into HIS behavior in a SEXUAL ASSAULT case, yet they were ready to hang Nixon for ordering the breaking to the Democratic Campaign offices in Watergate apts).

I have actually tried to find a listing of Reps and couldn’t find a good one that wasn’t just Hate-Bush and Reps Sex scandals. I wanted one like the Dems list of all types of scandals. Couldn’t find one. Hmmmm.

Why the hell do most driver feel the need to see the side of their OWN car in their two side mirrors???? This one fact is the cause of most near misses I’ve ever almost been in while driving. Why is this so hard for people to understand.

YOUR SIDE MIRRORS ARE FOR COVERING YOUR BLIND SPOT!!!! NOT TO BE A SECOND AND THIRD REAR VIEW MIRROR!

Here is something that will help all of you IDIOTS who apparently bribed your Drivers Ed teachers and enjoy playing Russian Roulet with everyone else on the road! Read it and pay attention to it.

And finally, GET OFF THE FRIGGIN PHONE AND DRIVE!

It may surprise you to learn that there is a better way to set the rearview mirrors on your car. The quick test: if you look in your side mirrors and you see the side of the car, then you’ve got it wrong! This is the method recommended at most driving schools, including the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina. Essentially, most people have a huge overlap between the side and center rearview mirrors, which is unnecessary. By spreading your side mirrors you lose no information about what’s behind you, but gain valuable insight into what’s beside you.

Steps

• Lean your head over until it almost touches the driver’s window, and then position the side mirror on the car’s left side so you can just see the rear quarterpanel (the rear of the car) in the mirror. Note this will have it positioned farther out than you probably had it before.
• Lean your head to be just between the two front seats, at your normal height, and position the right side mirror so you can just see the rear quarterpanel of the passenger side in the mirror.
• Adjust the center rearview mirror to place it facing the center of the rear window. While driving note that a car passing you begins in the center of your rearview mirror. As it approaches you, it moves to the side of your center rear view mirror, and at the same time appears in your side mirror. This shows you that there is no rear blind spot, because there is an overlap between the mirrors.
• Also note that your side mirrors now capture a tremendous additional amount of information about what is in the lanes immediately next to your car. Previously you would have to turn your head to ensure nothing was in the lanes beside your car before changing lanes. Now, your side mirrors do a much better job of covering this blind spot on the side.

Tips

• Give it at least a week after setting your mirrors this way. It will seem foreign at first but soon will become second nature.
• Note that parallel parking becomes more difficult since you cannot see both your car and what’s next to it in your side mirrors without moving your head.
• Constantly scanning your mirrors instead of just checking them when you want to change lanes or pass someone will help to prevent someone from “sneaking” up on you. Pairing this mirror setting method with constant scanning will allow you to be aware of those around you at all times.

Warnings

• Don’t adjust mirrors while driving.
• ALWAYS look over your shoulders before changing lanes! While this mirror method is very effective at reducing blind spots, one can not depend on it to eliminate them. It is still possible for motorcycles, smaller cars, or even bicycles to hide in unexpected areas around your car.
• Looking over your shoulders gives you additional necessary information about the behavior of traffic around you that you can never get from mirrors no matter how well they are placed.

RULE OF THUMB:

Your side mirrors are set correctly when:

• The car in your rear view mirror begins to leave the outside edge of the rear mirror and begins to appear in the inward edge of the side mirror.
• The car approaching either side is starting to leave the outward side of the side mirror’s edge, it is begining to appear in your eyeball visual range if you turn your head parallel to your shoulder.

Why is it that people cannot seem TO grasp the simple adverb expressing an excess of something or in addition TO something?

I like that TOO.
That soup was TOO hot.
That is TOO cool!
He is TOO nice.
That item is TOO old.
My error was all TOO apparent.
He’s young, clever, and rich TOO.

They came TO the house.
He grew TO six feet.
Apply varnish TO the surface.
The flowers opened TO the sun.
He tore it TO pieces.

How hard it this???

This is the SINGLE MOST misused piece of grammar I’ve seen online and it’s only getting worse. I’m seeing it more and more in context with otherwise intelligent and grammatically correct dialogs. It’s scary when you are tooling along reading a really nicely written article and then it becomes littered with that person using TO instead of TOO throughout the article.

I know it’s only one letter, but wasn’t that the whole point of learning grammar in the first place? TO understand that misplacing or omitting one letter changed the meaning of a word or phrase? Is this TOO hard to learn these days?

I meen if I wanted two jest mak mi own rooles for english grammer up I cood rite anything and it wood b understood but how duz that reflext on my intelligens when Im triing two mak a informed and compelling pont?

What’s the point, right?

Using shorthand spelling when using a cell phone or blackberry is one thing. The letter keys are small and you’re usually in transit while typing, so shorthand spelling is forgiven. But full out blog comments and articles written on computers with a full keyboard is just lazy and ignorant. And my grip isn’t even with using shorthand in blogs or emails either. I use then sometimes TOO. It’s when someone is typing a regular post or email and they are using standard grammar, but they still use TO for everything!!!!

It just drives me nuts.

The principles upon which Western culture rests and upon which America was built are under attack by these slow acting but deadly forces. The drumbeat is grinding down the will of the West to maintain itself. The ideas of individual sovereignty and responsibility, natural rights, and objective truth have been derided by the left to the point that many of our young people reject them, if, indeed, they are even aware of them as the basis for our culture. All that ensures that a culture will pass its ideas down from one generation to the next is its cultural memory. The drumbeat is slowly but surely replacing our cultural memory.

As each school is renamed and the name of a Founder or other great person from our history is removed from its entrance way, we lose a bit of that memory. As our great authors and works of Western culture are replaced with those in line with the message of the drumbeat, we rapidly lose our cultural memory. As each school textbook is rewritten to reflect the new ideas of family and cultural heritage, our children are lost to the forces of the drumbeat as they learn to view America and traditional Western culture as oppressive and imperialistic. And it doesn’t take long for there to be only a shell left, the substance of our culture sucked out and destroyed by the cultural Marxists.

If you believe that all this is a paranoid overreaction, you have plenty of company. Those of us who can still see the water and hear the drumbeat are subject to attempts to make us sound evil and foolish. To believe in traditional Western cultural values, American Exceptionalism, God, and moral truth is to be branded as old fashioned and foolish, even by the best assessments of those who have bought into the cultural Marxist’s message. And by the worst of them, we are branded as stupid and evil, and in need of being destroyed.

It may be too late to do anything about this as the world plays out its story. The power-hungry arrogance of human beings seems to be the force that underlies the events carrying us forward to the final chapter. And as this arrogance and lust for power feeds the wills of those who would gain control of the world, humankind is gaining just enough knowledge to destroy itself in that arrogance. Never before in human history has there been such a confluence of forces. Technology, globalism, and the leftist drumbeat are joining together in a way that is allowing mankind to believe, on a worldwide scale, that it can control its own destiny.

The main thing that is being ignored in all this is human nature. It is all based upon the arrogant presumptions of the elitist cultural Marxists concerning how people ought to act. It leads to totalitarianism and destruction.

In truth, and in direct opposition to the drumbeat, each human being must be accorded his or her natural rights, individual sovereignty, and self responsibility to be in harmony with human nature. Each of us must have the freedom to succeed or to fail. Western culture, culminating in the great American experiment, has been perverted. Due to these perversions, many failures have already occurred, which have then, ironically, been used to justify further perversions of the same sort as those which caused the problems to begin with.

Generally, these perversions are manifested in bigger government, more laws, more bureaucracy, more regulations, more taxes, and government controlled redistribution of wealth, more collectivism, less individualism, and less freedom. We all hear it constantly from leftist politicians as they add their part to the drumbeat: government must do more to ensure Americans avoid the consequences of their choices. We all know the song, sung to the cheers of the unthinking throngs who would give up their very humanity for the promise of a free lunch. These are the joys of cultural Marxism.

Separately, two Marxist theorists-Antonio Gramsci of Italy and Georg Lukacs of Hungary-concluded that the Christianized West was the obstacle standing in the way of a communist new world order. The West would have to be conquered first.

Gramsci posited that because Christianity had been dominant in the West for over 2000 years, not only was it fused with Western civilization, but it had corrupted the workers class. The West would have to be de-Christianized, said Gramsci, by means of a “long march through the culture.” Additionally, a new proletariat must be created. In his “Prison Notebooks,” he suggested that the new proletariat be comprised of many criminals, women, and racial minorities.

The new battleground, reasoned Gramsci, must become the culture, starting with the traditional family and completely engulfing churches, schools, media, entertainment, civic organizations, literature, science, and history. All of these things must be radically transformed and the social and cultural order gradually turned upside-down with the new proletariat placed in power at the top.

In 1919, Georg Lukacs became Deputy Commissar for Culture in the short-lived Bolshevik Bela Kun regime in Hungary. He immediately set plans in motion to de-Christianize Hungary. Reasoning that if Christian sexual ethics could be undermined among children, then both the hated patriarchal family and the Church would be dealt a crippling blow. Lukacs launched a radical sex education program in the schools. Sex lectures were organized and literature handed out which graphically instructed youth in free love (promiscuity) and sexual intercourse while simultaneously encouraging them to deride and reject Christian moral ethics, monogamy, and parental and church authority. All of this was accompanied by a reign of cultural terror perpetrated against parents, priests, and dissenters.

Additional intellectual firepower was required: a theory to pathologize what was to be destroyed. In 1950, the Frankfurt School augmented Cultural Marxism with Theodor Adorno’s idea of the ‘authoritarian personality.’ This concept is premised on the notion that Christianity, capitalism, and the traditional family create a character prone to racism and fascism. Thus, anyone who upholds America’s traditional moral values and institutions is both racist and fascist. Children raised by traditional values parents, we are told to believe, will almost certainly become racists and fascists. By extension, if fascism and racism are endemic to America’s traditional culture, then everyone raised in the traditions of God, family, patriotism, gun ownership, or free markets is in need of psychological help.
